New seat pads made in Colefax & Fowler's luxe patterned velvet (Kemble "Forest")
Restoration: The whole set has been sanded back and sprayed in a glossy black with hand-painted gold rungs, highlighting the beautiful faux bamboo detailing. New seat cushions echo the exact shape of the cane seat pads, which have been restored and replaced where needed, making this set in very good working condition.
