Alice Crawley and renowned decorative artist Meg Boscawen have collaborated on this beautiful antique faux bamboo side table which has been given a "trompe l'oeil" Malachite stone top. This piece forms part of a new 'Art Series' that Alice has been putting together, working with renowned decorative artists and creatives to create something truly special and unique from an antique or pre-loved piece of furniture in an attempt to stay true to her sustainability mission.
The antique itself is from the Victorian Aesthetic movement, the table top made from pine in an interesting octagonal shape with wooden faux bamboo legs. There are naturally some little irks and characteristics being antique, but essentially this table is in good working condition and would bring something really special to any space.
